Our first Star Wars-related cereal came out in 2002. Episode II, for Attack of the Clones, was a limited-edition cereal with two box designs.
One had the characters of Jango Fett and Obi-Wan Kenobi on the front. The other showed Count Dooku, Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala.

Episode II cereal included marshmallows shaped like seven characters and iconic items from the Star Wars universe, including R2-D2, Yoda, the Slave I ship, a Jedi starfighter, two lightsabers and a Clone trooper. The boxes also featured an “adventure game” on the back panel.

Then in October 2015, three more box designs were released, featuring Kylo Ren, BB-8 and R2-D2 (a retailer exclusive). The cereal dropped two of its marshmallows (Yoda and a blue lightsaber) and added one for BB-8.
The final two boxes for The Force Awakens were revealed in February 2016, with Rey and a second design with Kylo Ren.

In October 2019, we relaunched Star Wars cereal with two new box designs as fans anticipated The Rise of Skywalker (opening Dec. 20).
The two limited edition boxes, on shelves now, feature BB-8 (with new droid, D-O) and Kylo Ren (with a red Sith Trooper). The 2019 boxes kept the same five marshmallow shapes last used in 2016.
